AlpStore Autumn School: Storage Technologies for Sustainable Development

The AlpStore Autumn School at ALaRI at the Università della Svizzera italiana,  addresses  prospective utilization of energy storage technologies from different aspects in a holistic and multidisciplinary manner. The goal of the school is to establish foundations of assessment strategies for energy storage technologies based on cost-benefit analysis with respect to various local conditions. The objective is to foster a wider utilization of storage technologies and support sustainable regional development.

The Autumn School brings together domain experts, local authorities, businessmen, practitioners and technology providers to discuss not only technical but also commercial and social aspects of wider energy storage adoption. The aim is to spur development of new scenarios for storage deployment as well as create novel business models needed for viable massive utilization of energy storage technologies based on a realistic cost-benefit trade-off.

The school is intended to domain experts, local authorities, businessmen, practitioners, technology providers as well as students and scientists from related fields.
